New York Needs You fights for economic mobility for ambitious low-income college students. They do this by providing intensive career development, mentorship, and professional networks to enable students to realize their academic and career aspirations. The Program team runs 28 Saturday workshops per year, along with providing case management support for Fellows and recruiting a new class of 100 each year. New York Needs You is looking for a Program Intern to support to team members, specifically focusing on Fellow recruitment, data management and analysis, and documenting programmatic policies and procedures. There may also be opportunities to manage logistics and event management for Saturday workshop and evening industry seminars.

Fathom is looking for an intern with a keen eye and a shutter habit to assist in building our visual brand. This is a start-up, so there are plenty of opportunities to leave your mark. You must have familiarity with Creative Commons, Getty Images, and Photoshop. Candidates should have an interesting viewpoint, a passion for travel, and the ability to work independently. Responsibilities include photo research for story assignments, slideshows, and stories; organizing, cataloguing, and tagging images; conceptualizing and producing videos. Internships are around 20 hours a week, working partly from home and partly from the office. Internships are unpaid, but we will give college credit to those who qualify.
