The Webby Awards. Paid Web Design Intern. Intern will assist in production and site updates. Your skill-set should include: Excellent with HTML, Excellent Proficiency in Photoshop, Excel and Filemaker Pro; familiarity with social media platforms. It is a part-time position, paid hourly. This is a unique opportunity to get tons of hands-on experience in all facets of web production and design. The Atlantic Theater Company.Spring 2012 Interns. The Atlantic Theater Company invites multiple internships throughout the season in every aspect of the organization’s operations. Internships are unpaid and generally held by undergraduate and graduate students, or recent college graduates. We offer college credit, tickets to all of the Atlantic main stage and second stage performances, free tickets to certain Broadway and Off-Broadway shows, metrocards for full-time interns, and educational sit down sessions with Atlantic staff, guest artists and other theater professionals. Junior Production/Marketing/Editorial Assistant.This is a pivotal hands-on, multifaceted role that allows you to be an integral part of the day-to-day operation of Core77’s annual international awards program. You will be primarily focused on production for the Awards program engaged in a lot of planning, prepping, coordination and administrative activities, as well research and writing. You’ll get to write content for both the Awards website and the Core77 blog where needed as well as communications material and correspondence so we are looking for someone who is skilled in and interested in this range of work.

Macys.com. Junior Image Specialist. This position will involve  a variety of image tasks including retouching, color correction, archiving and naming images, image output and more. Key Accountabilities: conduct image retouching including removing imperfections, drawing clipping paths and creating color swatches. Work autonomously while retouching to achieve desired critical image quality of in-house photography. Review vendor-provided images against macys.com quality standards and determining viability for use online.

Ford Models, Inc. Art Department Assistant. Candidate should have basic graphic design skills and know the following programs: Indesign Photoshop illustrator. Skills: Retouching, color correction, scanning, good organizational skills, ability to work in a fast past environment, attention to detail. Day to day duties include retouching, color correcting, scanning, and uploading images to the website. Archiving images and videos as well as help with design projects.

Ballet Tech, The NYC Public School for Dance. Program Assistant. Seeking a dedicated, energetic, and organized individual interested in having direct involvement with gifted elementary and middle school students. Primary responsibilities involve supervising children ages 8-14, organizing and maintaining bus routes through the NYC DOE, and maintaining and updating student records. Additional responsibilities include misc. administrative tasks such as answering phones, data entry, and organizing materials for mailings. Experience with children and a sense of humor are essential. Bi-lingual a plus.
