Ana Ceppi

Ana Ceppi’s passion is to expose the innovation that is embedded under business-as-usual. Ana is an advocate champion for developing under-represented markets – from technology/digital footprint back in the 90’s; small business owners in 2008; to the emerging markets within the continental USA today.

Currently, Ana is an SVP Hispanic Strategy and Client Partnerships at NBCU where her mission is to partner with marketers and content creators to maximize the Hispanic marketplace potential in the continental USA–from strategy; to products; to go to market deployment.


Amy Zhan

Amy is a highly motivated and committed media professional specializing in the digital advertising industry. She has extensive experience in forecasting, modeling, and working with large datasets to produce performance metrics analytics.

Currently, she’s responsible for developing and executing NBCU Telemundo Enterprises’ digital and linear ad sales growth strategy by identifying and analyzing marketplace opportunities. She’s bilingual in English and Chinese and a Northwestern University graduate with a degree in Economics and Psychology.

Bunmi graduated from NYU Stern for Marketing and the Business of Entertainment, Media, and Technology in 2014. Since then she has worked at NBCUniversal for NBC Entertainment Network Partnerships specifically in Late Night and Primetime Specials.

Currently, she’s a manager for Lifestyle Portfolio Sales Marketing, responsible for creating ad sales marketing materials and driving demand for Bravo, Oxygen, Universal Kids, E!, and Fandango. Her previous experience includes social media management, event marketing, and startup business development. In her free time, she loves to watch movies.

Why do you think you stood out in the application process for NBCUniversal?

I think I stood out when applying to NBCUniversal because (1) I had a great reference who knew my interests and work ethic, and (2) my past experience showed a range of skills that brought value to different teams.

What part of your role do you enjoy the most?

Our team works on everything from presentations to events, and I love that I can learn and use different transferable skills on a daily basis.

What’s been your favorite aspect of the training/mentorship you’ve received at NBCUniversal?

I really appreciate that training and mentorship are built into many programs at NBCUniversal. Even if you don’t participate in NBCUniversity or SMR, you can always find someone who wants to help you grow professionally and personally.


Rafi Wadud

Rafi is an experienced business professional with a unique combination of financial, operational, and leadership experience. As Senior Analyst, Rafi partners with Sales, HR, Finance, Pricing/Planning & Sales Management Systems teams to set and audit quarterly targets for the team.

Why do you think you stood out in the application process for NBCUniversal?

I had relevant prior consulting experience with NBCU and relative media experience for other firms.

What part of your role do you enjoy the most?

Consulting with the leadership team on how well their teams are performing and being able to put the entire story together.

What’s the biggest challenge in your role and how do you overcome it?

We are a lean team (3 people) supporting the entire ad sales organization (roughly 800 employees). We work together on auditing accounts and creating formulas that help make an efficient process. As long as we stick to out calendar timeline, we are able to complete everything in a timely manner.

What’s been your favorite aspect of the training/mentorship you’ve received at NBCUniversal?

Learning how to use Excel on various different levels for different teams.


Veronica Potes

Veronica spearheads integrated marketing campaigns across USA & Syfy. She was previously a Marketing Manager creating & managing integrated marketing campaigns for E! and the Esquire Network. Veronica has developed award-winning programs for E!’s coverage of the Golden Globes, Grammy Awards and Academy Awards as well as New York Fashion Week.

Prior to joining NBCUniversal, Veronica was at Univision crafting branded entertainment opportunities for beauty and personal care clients.

Veronica is on the National Board of Directors for the Hispanic PR & Marketing Association, responsible for developing programming events for the organization’s roster of members. She has been involved with the organization for 10+ years, most recently being recognized by PRWeek as a Champion of PR & Marketing Diversity efforts. Veronica is originally from California and earned two B.A.’s from the University of Southern California.

Why do you think you stood out in the application process for NBCUniversal?

I worked across both PR and Marketing, as well as agencies and media companies. I believe that the diversity of my background created a unique profile on my application.

What part of your role do you enjoy the most?

The creative ideation process!

What’s been your favorite aspect of the training/mentorship you’ve received at NBCUniversal?

I truly feel valued by the company at large, not only my immediate department. I have been lucky enough to work here for 4 years and across two different teams–I truly feel the company cherishes talent and will keep HiPo talent once they’re hired.
