Our next event is a panel titled Creative Good: Breaking Into the World of Nonprofits, which will explore how students, recent grads, and professionals of all ages can break into the nonprofit sector. Join us on Tuesday, April 3 at 6:30pm at the New School (RSVP here).

We are proud to highlight our second panelist: Rita Garcia, Feedback Manager at

Rita E. Garcia is the Feedback Manager at, an online charity that connects donors to classrooms in need.  Her work ensures that classrooms get the monetary support they need so that every child has the tools and experiences needed for an excellent education.  She oversees all aspects of the Feedback process, which ensures that every donor receives a Thank-You Package with photos and personalized messages from the recipient classroom.  Rita’s team relies heavily upon its intern and volunteer program to help process over 80,000 Thank-You Packages annually. The majority of her volunteers are full-time, front-line educators who volunteer in the evenings. Rita holds an MS in NonProfit Management from the Milano School of International Affairs, Management, and Urban Policy at New School University.
