Lot 18 is hiring for a few paid Interns to learn our business from the ground up. Working with our Marketing, Analytics, Merchandising, and Development teams you’ll learn about: customer acquisition, customer retention, business development, marketing partnerships, co-branding, technical platform development, and the overall workings of a successful e-commerce startup. Collegehumor. Editorial Intern. Paid. Founded by two high school friends, CollegeHumor delivers daily comedic content including videos, pictures, articles, and jokes. Interns with CollegeHumor’s Editorial department will become key members of a small group of creatives within a larger, supportive company. For individuals with a strong interest in comedy writing and the web, it’s a great fit. Interns report to the Editor-in-Chief and the Articles Editor, as well as the Videos and Pictures page editors. A background in creative writing or related major is preferred but not required. The internship is divided into equal parts creative writing, brainstorming, and content creation for the site. Kiosk-HQ. Community Executive Intern. Kiosk is a new kind of agency, for an always-on world. Mobile Internet has changed the way we live, from the way people connect and interact with each other to the world around them. The Community Executive Intern will maintain the relationship with the Field Notes Mobile Community and be the face of interaction with community members. The responsibilities of the Community Executive Intern include: interacting and engaging with the community members on a regular basis; assisting in preparing PowerPoint materials; and responding to community member questions and requests. In addition, the Community Executive Intern will provide ad hoc admin support and project support for the Kiosk Team. Candidates must be available to work weekends.
