SHIFT Communications. Summer 2013 Design Interns. Paid. SHIFT Communications is an integrated communications agency comprised of 100+ creative, smart, and sassy brainiacs, with offices in Boston, NYC, and San Francisco. They are offering a paid internship for Summer 2013 in the New York office’s Design department. NY1 News. Spring 2013 Graphics & Creative Services Interns. Paid. NY1 is a 24-hour news channel serving New York City’s five boroughs, parts of Westchester and Hudson Valley, and Bergen and Hudson Counties. They offer opportunities to students who are motivated and eager to learn about the broadcast environment. Interns in the Graphics department will learn how to create and produce various on-air graphics using Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects, while interns in Creative Services will assist producers with the production of promotions, screen promotion footage, and graphic elements as well as occasionally accompany producers on shoots. L’Oréal. Integrated Marketing Intern. Unpaid. The L’Oréal Group is the world’s largest cosmetics and beauty company. They are looking for creative and passionate individuals to help manage external partnerships with agencies and give direction as needed, including working with production companies, photographers or directors, and producers and editors. Interns will also gather all tools needed for video and photo shoots, such as product requests, trend and inspiration boards, and brand props and signage. CNN. Public Relations Intern. Unpaid. CNN.com delivers breaking news and information on the latest top stories, weather, business, entertainment, politics, and more. PR Interns will gain insight into the publicity process as they strengthen their skills through contributing to the network’s media relations and occasionally participating in staff as well as other planning meetings. They will also learn how to compile media contact lists, search for press clips, craft and implement pitches, and support publicists in day-to-day publicity efforts, both proactively and reactively.
