The International Rescue Committee (IRC) responds to the world’s worst humanitarian crises and helps people to survive and rebuild their lives. Founded in 1933 at the request of Albert Einstein, the IRC offers lifesaving care and life-changing assistance to refugees forced to flee from war or disaster. The International Rescue Committee is seeking a video intern to create a video database and system for cataloging media. The effort will take place in three stages: organize the various VHS tapes, DV tapes and film into categories of “need to keep” and “discard”; transfer all footage to hard drives; and input description of video in the database. CBS Radio. Internship. College Credit. A division of CBS Corporation, CBS Radio owns and operates 130 radio stations, all but one of which are in the nation’s top 50 markets. The overall mix of each radio station’s programming is designed to fit the station’s specific format and serve its local community. The Broadway League. Internships. Paid. The Broadway League is the national trade association for the Broadway industry. Our 700-plus members include theatre owners and operators, producers, presenters, and general managers in North American cities, as well as suppliers of goods and services to the commercial theatre industry. The Broadway League supports a year-round internship program for graduating high school and college students with positions available for the fall, spring, and summer. All internships are part-time and range from 8-24 hours per week. Hours are flexible. Interns are paid minimum wage, currently $7.25 per hour. Course credit is also available for those interested.
