The intern will be responsible for supporting the team in a variety of ways, from event assistance to account management and more. A sense of humor is REQUIRED and the candidate must be able to handle working under pressure while maintaining professionalism. The ability to meet tight deadlines is a MUST. This position is open to college students and we offer a stipend and credit. A 52-acre urban oasis situated in the heart of Brooklyn, New York, Brooklyn Botanical Garden is seeking a Communications Intern for their Marketing department. The intern will report to the Manager of Communications. Interns will be able to learn about and engage in all aspects of communications work for a large nonprofit organization and respected cultural institution while helping to implement the Garden’s 2014 communications plan.
