Since opening in a rented loft at Fifth Avenue and 125th Street in 1968, The Studio Museum in Harlem has earned recognition for its catalytic role in promoting the works of artists of African descent. The Studio Museum is seeking someone who will work closely with the Associate Development Director to help with the Studio Museum’s fundraising and membership efforts. Primary responsibilities include assisting with preparing grant reports and proposals, conducting research on corporations and foundations, and organizing mailings of information to donors and prospects. Previous design, marketing, and public relations experience is helpful, but not required.

The Center for Fiction is seeking a Webmaster and Graphic Designer. Duties will include monitoring and updating the website; editing and uploading articles, photos, video and/or audio; managing the organization’s social media presence; designing promotional materials for print; preparing regular e-mail newsletters and other e-mail blasts; and maintaining hardware/software for the staff. We are looking for an avid reader of fiction with a strong design eye and excellent writing skills. The website has a custom CMS, but knowledge of HTML and CSS, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Creative Suite and Photoshop on a Mac platform is needed.
