Barnes & Noble College.
Fall 2012 / Spring 2013 Marketing Intern. Paid. Barnes & Noble College is looking for creative and socially savvy students to be part of an exciting and rewarding marketing program this upcoming academic year. Barnes & Noble College Ambassadors will raise on-campus awareness about their official college bookstore and its offerings. Ambassadors will also plan online and on-campus activities that promote the various textbook options offered by their bookstore, with an emphasis on textbook rentals. Apply here.


Burberry. Fall 2012 Internships. Unpaid. Founded in 1856 and headquartered in London, Burberry is a luxury brand with a distinctively British sensibility and strong international recognition that continues to create new opportunities for growth and development. The company is looking for Fall 2012 interns to work in their U.S. head office in Manhattan. Various Internships. Unpaid. The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum is currently accepting additional internship applications for the Fall 2012 semester and 2012-2013 academic year. These internships will begin on September 10, 2012, and end on December 7, 2012, for the Fall 2012 semester or April 19, 2013, for the 2012-2013 academic year. The objective of these internships is to offer practical and educational museum experience to individuals interested in pursuing careers in the arts or museum-related fields. New York Public Radio (WNYC).
On The Media Intern. Unpaid. On The Media is accepting applications for people interested in helping out with the production of the program. Internships generally last three months, are unpaid, and are part-time. They take place at WNYC Radio in New York City, where OTM is produced. Interns are an integral part of OTM’s staff, assisting with all aspects of the show’s production: they sit in on editorial meetings, provide research assistance, and perform various administrative tasks involved with the daily operation of the office. Over the course of the three months, interns learn basic production skills, including field recording and digital audio editing, and are eventually encouraged to produce at least one segment for the show. Junior Designer. Eight Inc. New York is seeking a motivated and talented Junior Designer with one-to-four years of experience. This position will be responsible for a wide range of design development and documentation, working closely with senior designers and other project team members. The Junior Designer will also be required to develop 2D and 3D representation and presentation skills as well as learn how to interpret design direction and communicate this direction through clear drawings.
