We are looking for a highly motivated videographer or media production student to film and edit short videos for use on our website and marketing materials. The intern will create videos for use in our marketing efforts and will be used through our website and social networks. The intern will be able to improve their technical skills in developing mixed media and will build their resume for future employment. Responsibilities include collaborating with our marketing team to develop web video pieces, coordinating filming of FIAF events, planning, shooting, and editing video for website content, and working closely with the website coordinator to download videos.
Sterling Publishing Co. Intern (Summer 2014). Paid.
Sterling Publishing Co., Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Barnes & Noble, is looking for interns in our Art/Design, Editorial, Managing Editorial, Marketing, Production and Sales departments. We are seeking creative, innovative, risk takers who aren’t afraid to think “outside the box” and make an impact within the department, as well as the organization. Outbrain is looking for a student intern to help assist their account management team. The paid internship would be roughly 20 hours a week starting as soon as possible, and throughout the summer. We are seeking a highly motivated, meticulous individual, interested in digital advertising/marketing. Responsibilities include coordinating and tracking weekly webinars, providing client support and communication, aiding in marketing efforts, and coordinating with the finance department on billing tasks.

The New-York Historical Society is offering full-time summer internships in both our museum and library divisions. Applicants who are selected to participate in this rewarding yet demanding experience may be awarded a stipend or receive course credit depending on school requirements. Participants are required to work 35 hours a week. Besides working with a specific department, the 35 hours includes weekly lunchtime meetings in which interns will hear lectures from various N-YHS employees and participate in outings to other cultural institutions in the NYC area.
