The Junior Designer works closely with the Art Director and will handle layouts, commission illustrations, and take part in photo selections. The Verge, a partner with Vox Media, covers the intersection of technology, science, art, and culture offering in-depth reporting and long-form features. They’re looking for a Feature Editor to conceive and pitch ideas, help share a story’s research, writing and direction. The role requires a fluency with storytelling across design, video, and words and ideally, applicants will easily manage multiple projects while working closely with staff and contributors. The right candidate will be a collaborative, creative person who is highly organized, flexible, and reliable.
