WNET New York Public Media is offering an undergraduate fellowship funded by the Reginald F. Lewis Foundation for distinguished students who meet the following criteria: a member of a minority group, at least a college junior, has completed one course in their major with an overall 2.5 GPA. Students will be exposed to areas like broadcast/online production, event planning, corporate communications, fundraising, corporate facilities, sponsorship, information technology and marketing. Fellowships are between 10 to 12 weeks.
ABC Entertainment. Fall 2014 Casting Intern. Paid.
The Disney ABC Television Group is home to The Walt Disney Company’s worldwide entertainment and news television properties, including ABC Entertainment. They are looking for a casting intern to assist with setting up and running casting sessions, updating documents, and general administrative duties. Interns must be current college students or recent graduates within six months, available full-time, and proficient in MS Office. Previous experience in entertainment or with a talent/casting agency are a plus.
Carbone Smolan Agency. Design Intern. Paid.
Carbone Smolan Agency combines content, technology, and art to create brand strategy and design systems for the physical and digital worlds. They are seeking a design intern to work directly with a supervisor to support their project teams and contribute to the entire design process, including the research and concept phase, through the design, development, and execution phase. The candidate could also complete internal creative projects, under a creative director. TED. Graphic Designer.
TED is seeking a Graphic Designer to join our Partnerships team. The ideal candidate is a creative self-starter with a love for design, experience developing presentations/proposals, strong software and technical skills, and an ability to work in a fluid and fast-paced environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for an emerging designer to join the team doing exciting work at TED. The designer will work closely with the Creative Services Director to brainstorm and develop materials to communicate TED’s brand and products. Key responsibilities include developing marketing and communication materials for TED Partners and developing photo and video assets and transforming written materials into effective visual representations. A passion for TED and a broad interest in the world–including science/technology, design/architecture, global development, entertainment/arts are big pluses.
