FindSpark Day in the Life Lunches offer an intimate, comfortable environment where you can network with a small group of your peers and established creatives. You’ll gain in-depth insight about where our speakers work along with their role.

Attendees will enjoy a short, engaging presentation from each speaker, ice breakers, Q&A, open discussion and casual conversation, and delicious NYC pizza. You’ll come away with inspiration, career action items, new connections and friends.

Elora Tocci is a graduate of Syracuse University, where she studied magazine journalism and public policy in between treks through the snow. After graduating, she began working as a communications assistant at Teach For America and now works as a communications manager there. She is passionate about ending educational inequity, empowering people facing the challenges of poverty, gender equality, Ross and Rachel’s relationship, and avocados.

Sarah Mendelsohn, a native New Yorker, is a graduate of Pace University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and a minor in Fine Arts. She began her career in fashion at a young age, creating her blog, A Hit of Sarah, when she was only 16 years old. Since then it has helped her gain global recognition as a writer, taste maker, and social media strategist as well as work closely with many established editors, stylists, and brands.
In addition to her experiences as a writer and journalist, Sarah has also established herself as a successful publicist. Her professional experience includes working both in-house and at established public relations firms. She is a creative and enthusiastic public relations professional with a proven ability to develop PR messages that attract attention, a strategic thinker with extensive client-facing experience, and an aptitude for tailoring a campaign to deliver high results to clients. At the age of 21, Sarah began working as a freelance publicist and consultant to startups in creative industries and has been able to successfully place her clients in recognized outlets such as Good Morning America, Complex, GQ, Billboard, Vibe, Hypebeast, Vogue, and more.
Sarah currently works in the global marketing department at the Gap. There she produces toolkits used to educate the field internationally as well as internal corporate employees on all related marketing initiatives. She also supports the Global Brand Creative Director, the Director of Marketing Operations and the Social and Digital Media team in presenting ideas for seasonal brainstorms and creating content for internal and external purposes. In addition to her full-time commitment at the Gap, Sarah’s ambition and dedicated work ethic also allows her to regularly update her blog and act as a publicist and consultant for startup businesses in the creative realm.
