Finally, Events for Interns and to Find Interns!

I am very excited to announce that NY Creative Interns will be holding it’s first (of many!) event on Thursday December 9th, 2010. To stay updated be sure to join the Meetup group, it’s really easy, you can login with facebook!

The aim of these events is to bring together creative students and recent grads and connect them with companies searching for great interns! Our focus at the moment is reaching out to mid sized to smaller sized companies and startups who may not have the resources (like $$ to spend on tabling at college career fairs) to do traditional outreach.

And we think non-traditional outreach is better.

Our first event is sponsored by and happening at the Wix Lounge, free office space for creative professionals! It’s a beautiful loft space on 10 W. 18th Street.

We are also excited to announce we will have DJ Frankenmack spinning sweet tunez all night! We will keep you all updated with more fun announcements!

These events aren’t just limited to future interns and intern seeking professionals. NY Creative Interns also aims to incite inspiration, idea generation, and to help people to find mentors.
