Weesie Vieira serves as publicist for CBS This Morning, a position she has held since January 2013. In this role, Vieira manages the press strategy for all aspects of the network’s morning broadcast, including pitching show segments, ratings and growth stories, and publicity opportunities for the show’s anchors and producers.

Vieira began her career in television in September 2008 when she was accepted into the NBC Page Program. While in the program, she was assigned to a series of positions throughout the company including production roles at CNBC and Saturday Night Live, as well as a position with NBCU Corporate Communications.
Vieira was hired as media relations coordinator for MSNBC in June 2011 and over the course of the next three years, she was promoted to publicist and then to press manager for the cable channel. In that role, Vieira was responsible for the overall press strategy of more than ten MSNBC daytime and weekend programs, as well as coordination of special events and marketing initiatives.
Vieira earned an undergraduate degree in English Literature from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2008, as well as a Master’s in Media Management from Fordham Business School in 2013. Outside of her work at CBS News, Vieira assists with Girls Raising, an organization that seeks to enhance the visibility and participation of women in entrepreneurship.

Colleen Schwartz is the Director of Communications for The Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones & Company, a position she assumed in March 2013. Based in New York, Ms. Schwartz is responsible for overseeing all external messaging The Wall Street Journal and all products as Dow Jones & company.

Prior to joining The Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones & Company, Ms. Schwartz was the Associate Director of PR at Meredith Corporation where she oversaw communication efforts for the Parents, Ladies’ Home Journal, American Baby and Family Fun magazine brands.

Ms. Schwartz began her public relations career in book publishing and spent time at Random House, HarperCollins and St. Martin’s Press. She is a graduate of Muhlenberg College.

Jessica began her career at CBS News, where she served as the publicist for shows including “Face the Nation,” “48 Hours Mystery,” and “The CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley.” She also spent three years at CBS News producing on-air promotional spots. Jessica is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University and grew up in the DC area.

Paola Hernandez

Paola Hernandez serves as Corporate Communications manager at Univision Communications Inc. a position she has held since August of 2013. In this role, she leads internal communications and media relations efforts for Univision Television Group, which owns and operates 62 television stations and Univision Radio which owns and operates 68 radio stations across the U.S. Paola also supports corporate initiatives and events. Her responsibilities include managing media inquiries and the quality control of press materials for local stations across 16 markets.

Prior to joining Univision, Paola was a senior communication specialist at NYSE Euronext where she led internal communications and media relations efforts for the technology arm of the Company, NYSE Technologies. She began her career in communications back in 2007 as an intern at Johnson & Johnson where she was later selected as a Johnson & Johnson Corporate Communications Graduate Fellow upon completing her Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Communications from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. While at Johnson & Johnson, a position she held for three years, Paola supported internal communications efforts for several internal groups including Information Technology, Government Affairs and Human Resources. Paola also has a Master’s degree in Corporate & Organizational Communication from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, NJ.
