The event will start with our speaker’s short version of how they got to where they are now. The majority of the time will be spent answering your questions, moderated by NY Creative Interns Founder, Emily Miethner. You can ask them live during the event and submit your questions ahead of time when you register.

About the Speaker: Matt Mullin, Digital Content Manager at Barnes & Noble.

05cb541Matt Mullin acquires content for Nook, a global leader in ebooks. In his role, he negotiates agreements with book publishers to sell through Nook’s content catalogue internationally. He was formerly Community Relations Manager at Digital Book World, a professional organization focused on digital change in the book publishing industry. There, he headed up business and audience development, programming, and educational offerings. Before that, he worked in digital marketing at Sterling Publishing, where he crafted social media strategy for both authors and brands, created and executed ebook workflow, and led single-title digital publicity efforts for key titles. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and events relating to book publishing and digital change.
