Meet Bernadette Anat, Freelance Producer/Teen Director at YMCA Camp, at Find & Follow Your Passion on November 9

On Saturday, November 9th, more than 35 top creative professionals will be sharing their insight with our community at the fourth installment of Find & Follow Your Passion, our full-day career conference in partnership with Eugene Lang College The New School for Liberal Arts.

We’re thrilled to introduce you to one of our speakers, Bernadette Anat.

Bernadette Anat

Bernadette is currently the Teen Director of New York YMCA Camp, where she develops and executes 3-week intensive leadership programs for their 16-17 year-old Counselors-in-Training (CITs). In addition, she works as a freelance producer. Her most recent project is a partnership with

Bernadette landed her first job out of college at Seventeen Magazine, as Executive Assistant to Editor-in-Chief Ann Shoket. Her favorite part of the job was being an unofficial Seventeen ambassador, collaborating with youth-empowerment non-profit organizations to set up career workshops, volunteer opportunities, and come-over-eat-pizza-and-talk-about-boys sessions for teenagers.

Her involvement with the veteran teen magazine started in college as a correspondent for the “Freshman 15” section. Among her robust resume of achievements, Bernadette was also accepted to the highly competitive American Society of Magazine Editors (ASME) internship program. She spent a summer in New York, working in the News, Health & Relationships editorial department of Glamour Magazine.

A San Francisco native, Bernadette attended University of California, Berkeley, before transferring to University of Southern California to study Public Relations.
