As Senior Director of Cause Marketing, Blair develops and oversees AOL’s relationships with non-profit partners and the advertisers that support those organizations. Blair was chosen by the CEO to start this department in June 2010, based on her passion for connecting media entities with social causes. In this role, Blair aims to identify and align AOL’s unique set of resources to most effectively partner with non-profits and the advertisers that support them. Her efforts have resulted in a centralized giving platform called AOL Impact, which provides pro-bono placements across multiple arms of the company including AOL.com, AOL Mail, Patch, and the Huffington Post. Within one year, the AOL Impact platform has raised $500,000 and driven over 15 billion impressions on behalf of 300 non-profit organizations and 35 cause-minded advertisers. In her spare time, Blair is deeply involved with Citizen Schools, an education-based non-profit that extends the learning day for low-income students. She sits on their New York Board of Advocates and has spent two semesters volunteer teaching middle-school students in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. In addition to Citizen Schools, Blair sits on the Board of Creators of Members Unite, a social enterprise that enables users to vote for and fund charitable projects around the world.
