Meet Creative Director Alec Brownstein at Find & Follow Your Passion on April 6

Alec Brownstein is an advertising industry creative leader with a proven track record building iconic global brands and creating simple, sticky ideas that break into the zeitgeist. He has worked at numerous top New York City advertising shops such as Young & Rubicam, Johannes Leonardo, and BBDO New York, where he was the first junior copywriter hired without a portfolio in over a decade.

Alec has worked on and led creative teams on clients from Accenture to Zyrtec. He has developed iPhone and Android apps, written and directed short films, and has even written jingles for Super Bowl commercials.

In the process, Alec has won every creative advertising award, including numerous Cannes Lions, Clios, One Show Pencils, and the Webby Award and People’s Voice Webby for Online Guerilla and Innovation. The Art Director’s Club has designated him a “Young Gun,” one of the top 50 creatives in the world under the age of 30. He has appeared on the CBS Early Show, ABC News, BBC, Channel 4 UK, NPR All Things Considered, and hundreds of others.

Alec is also the co-author of the bestselling humor books 50 Relatives Worse Than Yours (Bloomsbury) and 50 Days Worse Than Yours (Bloomsbury).
