In 2010, Jamila launched Girl Gone Geek where she blogs about her many obsessions, opinions, and passions including, but not limited to, comics, anime, video games, sci-fi, and fantasy.
Through her blog, she’s had the opportunity to attend conventions, conduct interviews, be a guest on panels, podcasts and much more.
Girl Gone Geek Blog also led Jamila to discover her passion for social media. In 2011, she graduated with a Master’s in Communication Arts from NYIT and she currently works for Vaynermedia.
