More than 35 top creative professionals will be sharing their insight with us for Find & Follow Your Passion, our full-day conference taking place on November 10th. We’re thrilled to introduce you to one of our speakers, Jennifer Cast-Galan.
As an Emmy award-winning Art Director for Nickelodeon’s On-Air Preschool brand Nick Jr., Jennifer Cast-Galan is in charge of developing the visual aesthetic and informative iconography psychologically relevant to the educational needs of the young demographic without sacrificing visual clarity or forsaking the beauty and sophistication of design. Prior to joining Nickelodeon, Jennifer gained experience in both publishing and apparel graphics with her work at Condé Naste and Gap Inc.
Jennifer earned a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and a master’s degree in Communication Design. A few years post graduate studies, Jennifer served as a Visiting Adjunct Professor for the Graduate Communication Design department at Pratt Institute, where she taught Psychology of Visual Perception. Jennifer commutes regularly to New York City from her home in Montclair, New Jersey, where she resides with her husband, 2.5-year-old daughter, and two step sons.
Join Jennifer and over 350 young creatives for a full day of discussions, hands on workshops, networking, and fun. Meet the coolest creatives and companies in New York City, learn about different industries, and make great connections with peers and professionals. The event is in partnership with the Center for Career & Professional Development at Pratt Institute and will take place on their beautiful campus in Brooklyn.
