We’re thrilled to introduce you to one of our speakers, Laura Zapata.
Laura is a fashion editor, stylist and digital strategist. For several years, she worked at Latina magazine, working her way from a Fashion Assistant, Credits Editor, Fashion Writer, and finally, a Contributing Fashion Editor. In 2009, she helped launch the Topshop brand as the Senior Style Advisor of New York. Later working in the digital space, she began consulting for luxury fashion brands such as Calvin Klein and Mikimoto, on social media, content and digital marketing strategy. She also helped launch the fashion e-commerce/content startup The Cools, as their Community and Marketing manager.
Laura is currently the fashion editor at Cosmopolitan for Latinas magazine, the founder and editor of the fashion tech blog Fashion Digital Daily, and the co-founder of the Future of Fashion Series, an ongoing event dedicated to connecting startups with industry professionals in fashion and retail.
