Matthew’s first industry job was at Tommy Hilfiger in Seoul, Korea as a Style Assistant. After moving back to the States, he landed a position at KCD Worldwide working on the CFDA Awards, Marc Jacobs, Chloe and Versace. He then directed the Men’s Fashion Group at Laforce + Stevens before moving to Valentino as Director of PR for the US for a few years. Harvey Weinstein and Tamara Mellon then approached him to relaunch the iconic fashion house of Halston as the Vice President of Global Communications. Continuing his international reach, Matthew joined the London-based Mission Media team as Executive Vice President and built the agency’s US headquarters in New York City.
Finally branding out on his own, Matthew’s agency The Eighth Floor, represents some of the world’s most prestigious fashion, beauty and lifestyle brands.
