Meet Michael Buffer, Manager of TKTS Patron Services for TDF, at Find & Follow Your Passion on November 9

On Saturday, November 9th, more than 35 top creative professionals will be sharing their insight with our community at the fourth installment of Find & Follow Your Passion, our full-day career conference in partnership with Eugene Lang College The New School for Liberal Arts.

We’re thrilled to introduce you to one of our speakers, Michael Buffer. Michael will be sharing tips and advice during the Use Time Wisely: How to Own the Job Hunt panel.

Michael-BufferMichael Buffer is a graduate of Eugene Lang College the New School for Liberal Arts (2010) and now works as the Manager of TKTS Patron Services for the Theatre Development Fund in New York.  Beginning his career at The New School assisting in the coordination of an after school theatre education program with the I Have A Dream Foundation, he has since worked as an educator,  director, writer, actor and choreographer in various companies in NYC. Recent credits include producing and acting in Piper Theatre’s  “Island of Dr. Moreau” at the Edinburgh International fringe, performing with Cloud of Fool’s “The Whistling Mortician” and Punchdrunk’s “Sleep No More.”  At his position at TDF, he manages a team of theatre professionals who are responsible for helping TKTS patrons to better understand the process of buying theatre tickets, and educate them about current offerings in NYC.

After studying theater design and honing her procrastination-baking skills at Vassar College, Bianca took the plunge and moved to NYC.
