We’re thrilled to introduce you to one of our speakers, Michelle Hoang.
Michelle is currently a freelancer and consultant focusing on public relations, events, digital, and brand strategy. In the past, she has worked for M Missoni at Valentino doing PR, marketing, and Events in North America, Marie Claire Magazine in the luxury fashion market working directly for the Market Director and first Fashion Assistant, and Lean Startup Machine as an Account Coordinator and Event Planner running events for entrepreneurs and innovators in the San Diego region. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University New Brunswick, majoring in Communications with a minor in Political Science & Human Resource Management. There, she was a part of the University Programming Association running large and small scale events on behalf of the university, Residence Hall President, and served on the University’s Judiciary Board. She was also an active member and supporter of various charities involving children, cancer, and women’s health.
Michelle has worked on and assisted on several projects including Social Media Week, Tough Mudder, American Cancer Society’s Annual Gala, New Yorker’s for Children, Star Trek-Into Darkness and Orange is the New Black NYC premieres.
She is an avid traveler, major foodie, a Star Wars super fan, and a Pilates/Yoga junkie. Her interests include interior and architectural design, technology, music, and most importantly, spending time with her family. She is currently learning how to cook and will be taking lessons to learn the game of golf!
