Meet Rich Tu, Award Winning Artist

Our 5 Creatives // 5 Stories event series takes place on Thursday, September 13 at 7pm at Openhouse Gallery. The event includes presentations from creative professionals, who will share stories about obstacles they encountered while pursuing their passions, lessons they learned, and advice that can apply to creatives at any stage in their career.

We’re happy to introduce you to Rich Tu, one of our speakers for this event. Rich is an award winning artist based in the New York area. He won the Art Director Club’s Young Guns 8 and was nominated for the Swatch Young Illustrators Award. He was an overall winner in the Altpick Awards and has been included in the Society of Illustrators and American Illustration annuals.

His clients and collaborators include The New Yorker, The New York Times, BusinessWeek, The Village Voice, Time Out, The Institutional Investor, Tokion, Hyphen, Death + Taxes, SWINDLE Quarterly, SLAM, KICKS, The Believer, Alfa Romeo, Bombay Sapphire Gin, National Public Radio, and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition among others.
