Find & Follow Your Passion: A Full Day Fashion Career Conference in partnership with LIM College on Saturday, April 5th is your chance to network with and gain insights from more than 30 creatives and business executives from top New York City fashion companies.
Looking for internships, new opportunities, mentors, friends and a foot in the door? Then this event is for you!
We’re thrilled to introduce you to one of our speakers, Saami Siddiqui.
Saami’s introduction to Bonobos came in the summer of 2011 as a wide-eyed intern fascinated by the company’s brilliant culture of delighting customers, making great product and having a lot of fun while doing it. He continues to be impressed by its innovative approach in almost all facets of the business and it’s no surprise that it has been continuously recognized for its creativity by its own customers.
Saami joined the Merchandising team full-time at the end of that summer. His responsibilities include managing Bonobos’ Tops categories (sport shirts, dress shirts, polos, knits, outerwear) as well as its curated shoes category. His work involves analyzing sales trends to arrive at the best possible investment strategy for the aforementioned categories. He’s also been known to be at the wrong end of office pranks quite often.
Saami graduated from the University of California, Davis with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Before joining Bonobos, he traveled extensively in the Indian sub-continent and worked as a voluntary school teacher in his hometown of Lucknow in India. In his free time, you can find him honing his very sloppy Muay-Thai skills, being an UFC fanatic, and playing cricket.
