Dear Dreamers and Opportunity Seekers,
You can do anything you want to do. Remember that. There will times along your path to success where you will hear no’s, change your mind, doubt your choice of major, and even start considering other paths.
Close both ears and storm forward on your journey. You must have the passion, the need and mindset to create the vision for what you want. It takes a lot of right and left turns to get to where you want, but you will!
There are too many people working that don’t love what they’re doing. Don’t be one of them!
You, yes you, are an amazing candidate who will achieve greatness. It may not be today, or tomorrow, but let your passion shine through and lead you towards it. Take all the risks you want and make mistakes. Make lots of mistakes because this is the time for you to figure out what you want to do. When the struggle arises, you will rise up and defeat the challenge. Each phase of your life comes with a challenge and you need to defeat it to move forward.
I know what you’re thinking: but what will people say? It takes a great deal to stop listening to others and embrace yourself. Embrace yourself whole heartedly. You are your own blend of unique and don’t let anybody change that. You may not see it now, but you are on the path to success.
As you’re winding down on this path, never forget to enjoy yourself and don’t take yourself too seriously. Our careers can define us, but it’s only a part of life and not life itself. Celebrate life and all it has to give you (career and all). Celebrate the smaller moments in life. As for your career, everything happens for a reason. If you don’t get the internship or job you most want, don’t worry! Listen to these words carefully now, there are bigger and better things coming your way. All you have to do is continue to work hard and let your passion guide you forward.
I don’t have a doubt in my mind that your talents, skills, passion and awesomeness won’t be recognized by someone. Keep doing you until then!
