Do you like starting your day inspired and surrounded by incredibly interesting people? Then you need to attend Creative Mornings. I’m super glad that this month’s CreativeMornings was my first, because it was clearly very special. CreativeMornings is a monthly breakfast lecture series for creative types. Each event is free of charge, and includes a 20 minute talk, plus coffee.
Jessi Arrington, queen of color, was the speaker at this month’s event. Her talk focused on tips for pumping up your creativity…which included trusting yourself, being enthusiastic, and being creative for others.
Jessi, in her colorful nature, after her talk had us participate in a rainbow parade. Which looked like this:

There was a band…
I wore a wig that Jessi brought…
And Jacob Krupnick, director of Girl Walk All Day, a past NY Creative Interns panelist, was there to film with Youngna Park (one of the most creative couples I know).
These are the perfect events for NY Creative Interns members. For all you college students and recent grads just starting out, here’s another chance to meet interesting people and learn from greats in the creative community. swissmiss (Tina Roth Eisenberg) has built an amazing event series. We aspire to create events just as great.
The next Creative Mornings event is December 16 (the Friday after our Anniversary Party). We’re going to go as a group, we hope you can join us. We’ll meet outside the venue by 8:30 (we’ll be there a bit earlier) and try to sit together. Be sure to RSVP at creativemornings.eventbrite.com the Monday before (it sells out quickly!). You can unofficially RSVP on our meetup group as well.
Check out past talks on their vimeo page. Below are some of our favorite.
