ChallengePost. Marketing and Community Intern. This is a great opportunity for a social media savvy candidate who would be excited to help grow and cultivate the ChallengePost community. We’re a well-funded tech startup with an amazing client roster, including First Lady Michelle Obama, the City of New York, Thomson Reuters, Samsung, and more. You’ll be helping promote our Challenges to universities, blogs, software developer communities, and other appropriate channels.
AHAlife. PR Intern. AHALife showcases and sells a new hand-selected item each day and tell the story behind the making of the product, along with a designer profile and a slideshow that takes you inside the creative process. We feature a range of lifestyle goodies—fashion, food, beauty, accessories, home decor, travel and tech, and more. PR Intern will work with experienced PR manager (prev: Burberry, Ivanka Trump) to work with pubs online and off. School credit, stipend possible.   W Magazine. Fine Jewelry Intern. Condé Nast Publications is offering an exciting internship opportunity in our fine jewelry department at W. We are seeking responsible, proactive, motivated and detail-oriented students who have an interest in fine jewelry and are eager to learn about the magazine industry. Duties: Viewing the newest jewelry collections, transcribing interviews with various jewelry designers, organizing photographs and look books, assisting with photo shoots.
  Brooklyn Philharmonic. Paid Production Intern. Duties may include, but are not limited to:Communicating with musicians, guest artists, and composers, scheduling and attending rehearsals, setup, teardown, load-in/load-out for rehearsals and performances, distributing schedules and music to musicians, communicating with performance venue staff members, creating program books, artistic research.

5 Entry Level Jobs that Need Amazing Applicants

Hachette Book Group. Editorial Assistant. Duties: Write catalog, cover and promotional copy and preparing fact sheets, prepare contract requests and process payments, communicate with authors and agents about queries, payments, etc., editorial projects through Production, Copyediting, and Marketing, and secure appropriate approvals, enter title data into proprietary databases system and track data throughout publishing process.
International Creative Management. Agent’s Assistant. Position supports an agent who negotiates agreements for theatrical designers and a theater business affairs executive who handles contracts for all non-talent theatre creatives. Successful candidate will have great administrative and organizational skills and be: 1) a good communicator, 2) capable of multi-tasking; 3) able to track the progress of multiple projects and clients; and 4) be poised, assured and friendly.
Lehmann Maupin Gallery.
Sales Assistant. Duties: Create and send previews and offers of exhibitions, art fairs and auctions, including sales packages on behalf of Directors; coordinate auction activity; manage the gallery Webstore; assist Directors with travel planning; conduct market research for sales development. Candidates must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-pressure, exciting, international environment.
International Center of Photography.
Individual and Annual Giving Assistant. The Assistant will work closely with the Director of Individual and Annual Giving to implement strategies that expand and increase the Individual Giving program.  The Assistant provides logistical support for the ICP program committee activities, provides support as needed to key members of the Individual
Giving team, including the Special Events Manager and Membership Manager, and handles various other development activities as needed.
   Random House. Assistant to the Publisher. Responsibilities will include assisting with day to day support and providing
administrative help to the Publisher. Duties will also include: calendar maintenance, planning meetings, answering the phone, maintaining reports, filing/data management, liaison with agents and media and industry contacts and supporting the overall editorial and publishing efforts of the Division.
