Shutterstock is a global marketplace for digital imagery. You creatives out there should be familiar with them; they help people around the world bring their projects to life with millions of photos, illustrations and footage clips. This trailblazing New York-based tech company is looking for talented people who believe in working hard and having fun.

FindSpark: What 3 words would you use to describe Shutterstock?
Shutterstock: Variety, Quality, and Creative Freedom

FindSpark: How might you describe some general personality traits that all employees at Shutterstock have?
Shutterstock: We work with creative thinkers who take initiative to find opportunity to make things more awesome. We are a social group that thrives on collaboration.

FindSpark: What is the common thread that holds your employees together?
Shutterstock: We are curious and collaborative and we love making things awesome!

FindSpark: Does Shutterstock have any company sports teams, committees, or mentor programs for employees?
Shutterstock: We do participate in seasonal leagues, such as basketball, soccer, bowling and currently billards. There’s always a book club or two floating around – the creative team just read “Buyology: Truth and Lies About Why We Buy,” by Martin Lindstrom. We have many great partnerships, including Creative Mornings and AIGA and attend many of the events worldwide. And in addition to attending events, you could be behind the scenes creating them by assisting in Shutterstock’s Pixels of Fury Design Tournament!

FindSpark: What are the best benefits/perks of working at Shutterstock?
Shutterstock: You’ll never get thirsty! We have a variety of cold drinks and hot beverages 24/7. You’ll never go hungry! We stock our break areas with fruit, cereal and snacks all day long. Not to mention Pizza Friday and if you work past 7pm, have dinner on us via And – Massage Friday! That’s right, every Friday you’ll have a 15-minute massage.

FindSpark: When giving a tour of your office space, what 4 stops would you make?
Shutterstock: First stop, the 30th floor! It boasts our Hack-a-thon trophy and layouts to our soon-to-be offices in the Empire State Building. Second stop, the 34th floor! It has our windowless think-tank that we call Amsterdam! It’s a dry erase board dreamland. Third stop, the 36th floor! It has the best view of the Statue of Liberty from the offices of our Trade Show & Partnerships team and they also have the best swag. Also, on the 36th floor are the best elevator decals, including my personal favorite, the giant pug! Lastly, and not officially in our office space, the Starbucks across the street! It’s basically our “out-of-office” meeting space.
