Our next panel, Start Something: Why Every Creative Needs To Be An Entrepreneur, will be an exciting dive into how creative people can follow their passions and start something from nothing. Join us on Wednesday, September 21 at 6:30pm at the New School (RSVP here).
We are thrilled to present our final panelist profile: Lauren Leto, Co-Founder of Bnter.com and Textsfromlastnight.com. Texts from Last Night is the wildly popular (especially among you college folks) website dedicated to sharing all the texts that no one remembers sending. The site sees over a quarter of a million views per month and in 2010 TFLN became a book. Her newer venture, Bnter, is a platform for scrap-booking conversation that believes “brilliant banter should be saved, and shared between family, friends, and fans.” She’s also writing a book called, “Judging a Book by It’s Lover,” to be published by Harper Perennial in 2012.
What is your current role?
I am the co-founder of Bnter.com and Textsfromlastnight.com
Reading authors I admire is usually how I find the most creativity. I try to read about a book a week.
I’m excited to have the opportunity to motivate people who are likely having better and brighter ideas than I am.
Do you have any questions for Lauren? Ask them in the comments and we’ll make sure to ask her at the event. Click here to RSVP.
