This free virtual program is the first time FindSpark will host an event meant for all members of our community — students, professionals, employers, talent professionals, and higher education professionals.

This conversation will be most useful when heard by all parties to better understand the challenges faced by Black professionals in the workplace, and how anyone in any role can be a part of positive change. We want to take advantage of the fact that FindSpark can connect folks from all pieces of the workplace puzzle — to not just listen but to act.

Topics to Be Covered Include

  • The Power of a Supervisor
  • Working Exclusively with Other Black Women is the Safest This Pro Has Felt at Work
  • The Effects of "Only"ness & Microaggresions
  • Supporting Team Members Internally from College to Career and Beyond
  • The Importance of Mental Health Awareness

Each speaker will be interviewed and interview another speaker, giving them time to go in-depth, more so then a traditional panel format allows. The event will feature a live chat for attendees to discuss, ask questions, and engage with speakers as well. Upon registration, attendees can also send thoughts or questions for our speakers in advance, which we encourage and can be asked anonymously.
