As a sales coordinator, I helped launch our first Philadelphia event (video: https://vimeo.com/252736285) to grow business within market. I’ve also helped grow our annual summer client party with an ROI of 18% and 2.6 million dollars in revenue. I’m also proud to have been the event operations lead for the first Afrotech event in NYC hosted by Spotify with the objective of increasing diverse hires from mid-senior level management in the engineering and media professions.

Tell us about yourself!

I’m an Ad Ops Associate with experience using Google’s digital advertising platform. I currently work on an in-house marketing team on the Display and Programmatic channels. I have a passion for advertising and all things media and I fell in love with TV production in college. Aside from my professional and educational background, I love Alternative and Indie rock and listen to music for hours on end each day, and I play guitar in my spare time.

Top career accomplishment?

One accomplishment so far has been overhauling the recurring weekly, monthly and quarterly Display reports at my job from many years ago by recreating them from the ground up and including newer and more insightful dimensions and metrics. Visual analytics tools were also incorporated to gain insight at a glance. These reports are now used team-wide in order to gauge performance and are much simpler to navigate and manipulate than the originals. More importantly, they offer much greater insight into the data without having to dig through thousands of rows in a table.

Top career goal?

I want to be able to use my experience with digital advertising and analytics, and my educational/personal experience with TV production in order to work on television ads in a more creative capacity. I ultimately hope to be able to work in a position that allows me to work on my personal passions using the professional skills I’ve acquired since graduating. Ad Sales allows for the ability to combine both my passion for TV production with my professional experience in advertising unlike traditional digital advertising roles within my desired field.
