Women in the Workplace: How to Excel in a Male-Dominated Environment.

Women in the Workplace: How to Excel in a Male-Dominated Environment is an exclusive virtual workshop led by Jemia Young, Diversity Talent Program Manager at TEKsystems, the largest IT Services & Talent Management company in North America.

Women are typically outnumbered at every level in the workplace and are dramatically outnumbered in senior leadership. Only about 1 in 5 C-suite leaders are women and only 1 in 25 are women of color. In the business world, it is important to have confidence in everything you do.

This workshop will help you to build that confidence and learn how to manage and transcend this issue as a woman in the professional world.

What we’ll cover in this workshop:

  • The Confidence Gap
  • Personal Barriers
  • Mentors vs. Sponsors
  • Navigating Male-Dominated Environments
  • Self-Development Recommendations
